Basic Pascal pack – version 1.4 – two new little games

Version 1.4 Basic Pascal pack suggests 2 new games. They are 1) Rifles and Trenches and 2) Crossfire at the Bridge. Two games are written with programming language QB64. QB64 – it is modern version of Basic. Both games are about military theme. Both are made with style of retro computers. With spirit of computers from 80s. Each game has its own decoration and information at the website. And it has a detailed description about a game. There are screenshots, to watch them. To read information about a certain videogame. And all downloads are goes from services GameJolt and Itchio. It is the pack with all the games at once.

Basic Pascal - I add to this pack, all my little games written with Basic and Pascal. Everything works with modern systems. Because, it is written with modern version of these programming languages.

Rifles and Trenches – it is a title, that speaks about the game rather clear. It is the idea of the game. It is very detailed description already with this game title. What to say? What to say more to this amazing name? Only a point, that it has a machinegun. And you can have a call by radio for support. Ammo for weapons, heal soldiers.

And, as a main, it takes a base theme from a videogame “Crests and Shooting”. But, here it plays another approach. Game, is also turn based. And, you will deflect, at least, one enemy wave. Enemies here with different behavior. They go to your trenches. And you are in a crossfire, as hard as you can! And it plays, by the way, not hard. Not hard at all.

Simply, text interface looks heavy at first sight. But not hard at all. And game theme, I think, it is first world war or second world war. It is a thing about your imagination. Graphics is schematical.

Crossfire at the Bridge – one more pretty self-description title name. This time, it is little game based on action movies about second world war. Where there are certain fragments with shooting and dynamic action style of Call of Duty, as I call it. But it is idea. And game itself, one more time, again, it is turn based. Full text graphics. Everything is in a text form. And you are at the bridge.

And your goal - is to cross the bridge with any coast. You have at once 5 soldiers. And more, 15 you can add from a reserve. With another side of the bridge – enemy. They are moving and shoot. They will be there all the time. And you need to cross amongst them. Crossfire is inescapable. But, you can hide after the cover places. And you have a rather long bridge, as a start.

From right to left you need to move. Once again, everything is in text, turn based game. It plays as a not hard game. And a lot for imagination.

Two retro games for this time. Two games about shooting theme. First or second world war. As idea. But taking into account a schematical graphics. Player can imagine his own storylines. It is release Basic Pascal version 1.4. Pack Basic Pascal will be updated with several games. For more simple way. From time to time! Or maybe, one game after another, per one game for update. It is main here, that it should to have some content to update with. As I can say.

Starting up with version 1.3 there is a retro file browser in pack, it is special for this pack, it is written special for this pack. It has a style of blue screen, you can run with files and launch required little game. For retro stylization. With most minimum of functions.
