Crest and Shooting - release!
Game with one game screen, written in QBasic64. Game is schematic. And atmosphere. It is drawn part of war conflict. In a term of local crossfire from a cover. Covers – can be trenches.
But, in this game, symbolically, used crests. Tank crests as a cover. Crests and shooting. You command a group of 5 soldiers. And they can move along frontier to the left and right. And shoot. Into the enemy. Hide under the tank crests. Riffle is with one shot. After the shot, you need to have one turn for reload.
In this game, you can play as with computer, as with a friend. Turns are made one by one.
Battle can be short (20 turns) or long (999 turns). There is limit of turns. In a rest, everything goes until, one of players destroy all enemy soldiers.
4 color graphics. Retro. Screen 1 in QB64.
Soldiers can
Make move left and right
Shoot from 1 ammo rifle
Reload it
Wait, keep current position
Battle goes on, until limit of turns reaches or one of the players – all soldiers are not destroyed.
Every soldier knows, the he is not a cat with seven lives.
Every soldier keeps salience. In a last minutes before step forward. At the frontier.
Every soldier reloads his rifle. Everyone is doing it in silence.
And, so, they are going to the front line. At the frontier.
There are tank crests all over this place. Maybe, after a crossfire with enemy, it will to go a tanks.
