Curse of the sands – too long doing of text

Now I stuck with doing a text quest. I write it in programming language Pascal ABC. IT is with Russian language support. There is a version with .NET support. So, it is a cool thing. So, it is very good for text adventure with support of Russian language. Game version has two languages. Russian and English. During start you choose language.

It happened like this. That I wanted to do something like text story for a long long time. Pyramids, Egypt, sand. And something like Lovecraft, Cthulhu and ancients. With other side. And I planned more short story, then I have in result. And that’s why I write text story for a long time, and make update into it.

And a double trouble was in translate it and do check in English language. It makes everything more complicated by time. But text in English is still hard for me. And I think, that, mainly, translation is ok. Mainly. It can have some moments. But for understanding story it do not makes a problems.

So, work with text and English translation takes a big time. And I do a fast-programming base part of the game. Insert text. It is fascinating. I programmed it much faster. And by efforts it was much easier than write text and do translation. So, this is for the first time.

So, now it is debug state of the program. Finalizing of programming. And some time to do some decorations.

Game will be about dig of ancient pyramid. Which has a mystical force. And in the dreams it will be some events. And dig during the day. And all the time some mystical things will happen. And one more – hero is a fan of rock band Iron Maiden. And he likes to listen Powerslave album. About ancient Egypt and gods of Egypt. And also, it is everything in the 80s. But it is small features.
